Anushka Sharma has been inspiring everyone with her pregnancy journey and doling out massive fitness goals, she recently posted a picture performing a tough yoga post. In the throwback click, Anushka is snapped nailing the ‘Shirshasana’ yoga pose with help from husband Virat Kohli. “This exercise is ‘hands-down’ (and legs up) the most difficult one #Throwback,” Anushka had posted.
Revealing that yoga is an important part of her life, Anushka expressed happiness on continuing to practice the same during her pregnancy. She shared, “As yoga is a big part of my life, my doctor recommended that I can do all such asanas that I was doing before I was pregnant barring twists & extreme forward bends, but of course with the appropriate and required support. For the Shirshasana, which I have been doing for many years, I ensured that I used the wall for support and also my very able husband supporting me balance, to be extra safe. This was also done under the supervision of my yoga teacher @eefa_shrof who was virtually with me through this session. I’m so glad I could continue my practice through my pregnancy.” This is for the first time that the actress has showed off her pregnant belly, which is often expertly camouflaged under flowing ensembles.
In the last trimester of her pregnancy, Anushka Sharma seems all pepped to stay fit. In August this year, Anushka and Virat had made the big announcement on social media. “And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021,” the couple had shared.
