BHUBANESWAR: Authorities of the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has extended datelines of counselling for BTech, BArch and Integrated MSc courses. The whole process of counselling will be ended by November 30 instead of November 15.
Online registration for counselling has been started from October 12. Last date of choice locking and registration was October 26, but the authorities have extended it till October 31. First round allotment was scheduled for Wednesday, but it is rescheduled for November 3.
After display of the first round allotment, candidates can pay their fees, upload documents, exercise freeze/float option and respond to query between November 4 and November 8 to get a seat for admission.
Registration for Special OJEE BTech rank holders or JEE Main rank holders not registered in earlier counseling process will be conducted between November 9 and November 12.
Round-2 allotment will be displayed on November 15. Newly allotted candidates can report online for admission between November 16 and November 18. Round-3 allotment will be displayed on November 20. Seat allocation and fee payment will be held on November 21 and 22.
Final round allotment will be published on November 24 and seat will be allocated to students on November 25 and 26. The OJEE will surrender the vacant seats to colleges/institutions for college level admission on November 27. The college level admission will be conducted between November 28 and November 30.
The OJEE authorities, which is holding web based counselling this year keeping the Covid situation in mind, will verify documents of students online. Students will not visit any nodal centres for document verification and upload it online for verification. It has changed the offline process because of pandemic situation. After verification, the students can download their allotment letter for admission.
