Bolly Buzz: Varun & Natasha’s wedding plans

It’s time to pop the champagne and get the party started, as lovebirds Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal are all set to tie the knot this month. From Varun getting ready to seal the deal with Natasha to Kangana Ranaut announcing the sequel of Manikarnika and celebs honouring our brave army men and more, here are the top headlines from the world of entertainment.
The wedding we have all been waiting for is finally happening! Years of speculation and rumours have finally lead to THIS day when we can officially confirm that Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal are all set to tying the knot. The couple is all set to get married this month in Alibaug.

On the filmy side of life, Kangana Ranaut announced that she will be turning back the pages of the history books, this time, for a sequel to ‘Manikarnika’. The actress announced that the follow-up to her passion-project will chronicle the life of ‘The Cleopatra of Kashmir’ Didda, who ruled in the Valley during the 10th and 11th centuries. However, even this announcement had its own share of controversies as, author Ashish Kaul, who has penned a book on the ruler, has claimed that the actress has “blatantly violated” his sole rights over the exclusive copyrights to the life story of Didda. He even claimed that he had written to Kangana on her official email ID, requesting her to pen a foreword for his book ‘Didda – Kashmir Ki Yodha Rani’, but never got a reply.

On a less controversial note, those waiting for the Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Bell Bottom’ will have to wait a tad longer. Word doing the rounds claims that the spy thriller which was set to release in April 2021, will now hit screens in June 2021. Although not official, we hear that the team went ahead and postponed the film as Akshay’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ is prepping up for a release in March.
Talking about Akshay, we spotted the hunk at the Jaisalmer military station on the occasion of Army Day. The actor and his ‘Bachchan Pandey’ co-star Kriti Sanon were all smiles as they spent the afternoon interacting with our brave men in uniform. Meanwhile, stars from Ajay Devgn to Sanjay Dutt, Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani and others sent out their notes of love and appreciation to all army men for their tireless service and sacrifice.
