Kerala SSLC, Plus Two Board exams 2021 on schedule; partial reopening of schools from January 1

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Brushing aside the demands for a reduction in school syllabus, the state government on Thursday resolved to conduct SSLC and Plus Two annual examinations as usual, from March 17 to 31.
A high-level meeting convened and chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan decided to conduct the examinations, adhering to Covid-19 protocols. According to the decisions arrived at the meeting, schools would be partially opened on January 1, not for regular classes, but for helping students to prepare for practical (lab) examinations and clear doubts regarding the lessons taught over the classes broadcast on Victers television channel and the school level WhatsApp groups.
