When Ranbir spoke about Raj Kapoor’s biopic

Films made on the life of famous personalities are on the roll in Bollywood right now. Movies like, ‘M.S.Dhoni: An Untold Story’, ‘Sanju’, ‘Neerja’ and many others have received appreciation from the audience and the critics alike. There were also talks about making a biopic on the legendary Raj Kapoor’s life. However, Ranbir Kapoor had once revealed that the film might never get made.
Talking to a news portal about the same, Ranbir reportedly said that when a biopic is made on an actor, it has to open certain classified files and reveal the human side, the flaws and mistakes. According to him, one can’t highlight only the good side of a person. That is one of the reasons why he thinks his family will not allow such a biopic on his grandfather to be made.

Ranbir Raj Kapoor was the greatest showman of Indian cinema and a noted Indian film actor, producer and director. He is regarded as one of the greatest and most influential filmmakers and actors in the history of Indian cinema.

Ranbir, much like his grandfather, is one of the most talented actors we have in Bollywood. He has films like, ‘Rockstar’, ‘Barfi!’, ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, ‘Tamasha’, ‘Sanju’ and others to his credit.

On the work front, he will next be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ co-starring Alia Bhatt. It also features Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy in key roles.
